Lecture notes on Hecuba of Euripides, ca. 1842.

Ernst von Leutsch's handwritten notes for lectures he gave on the play Hecuba by Euripides. The notes have the appearance of having been written all at about the same time. In a list of recent bibliographical references (Neuere Literatur zu Euripides' Hecuba), the latest date cited is 1842. The first portion of the notes appear to comprise an introduction and overview, discussing aspects including iambic trimeter; the characters; and the composition of the whole. Roughly the second half is devoted to a detailed commentary on the play, with running references to verse numbers 1 to 1269.
